championships of course...

the baltimore blast have entered an elite field in the world of professional sports. they have become the premier team in their league . . . . the stencil of success . . . . the portrait of perfection. in winning five out of the last seven championships, the blast are what everyone aims to be. in the world of indoor soccer, they are the standard. what makes us baltimoreans gleam with pride, is the fact that our team is always in it . . . . they're simply "in it to win it." at the start of every season, we expect nothing less than a championship. is it unrealistic to win it every year? yes... it is. but because our team is always in the title talk . . . . we consider it plausible.

1983/84 . . . . 2002/03 . . . . 2003/04 . . . . 2005/06 . . . . 2007/08 . . . . 2008/09
over the last seven years, championships have become somewhat of a habit here in charm city. due to the folding of the misl (major indoor soccer league) last year, a new league was created. this league, the nisl (national indoor soccer league), is quite a bit smaller than it's predecessor. but just because it's not as big, doesn't mean it's a shampionship . . . . this is the real deal guys. the blast fought hard all year. they had their best record in franchise history (15-4), and compiled a staggering winning percentage of .789 . . . . a feat many other sports teams would kill to accomplish. this was a good year. a good year for baltimore . . . . a good year for the fans . . . . a good year for indoor soccer.
