i still remember going to see that movie at the white marsh loews with my mom. it was fairly soon after it had opened. the floors were clean, the popcorn was warm and the recent introduction of theater-style stadium seating had not quite worn off yet. it took me weeks to drag my father there to see it with me. frankly, i wanted to see it again. and even though i knew he was reluctant, i wanted him to be there too. once he finally gave in, we shared an endless bond of laughter . . . . one that lasted several years. on occasion, we still share those jokes. and for that reason i'm glad it happened.
unfortunately, the names of the people in this photo elude me at the present time. but i'm sure that if they were ever aware that such a beautiful thing was documented on camera, they would be happy souls.
